Configuration and Settings of Mconnect Shipping Restrictions for Magento® 2

The Configuration of Mconnect Shipping Restrictions for Magento® 2 Extension:

Basic idea of shipping Restriction Setting

 Navigate to M-connect Media > Shipping Restriction Setting

1. Apply Shipping Restriction:

• You will able to enable or disable shipping restriction.
• You will be able to enable or disable Display Error Message.
• Restrict Shipping Method for admin (Create New order = Sales > Orders > Create Order).

2. Apply Condition:

If you have set Different conditions in shipping restriction information, you will be able to apply conditions from shipping restriction setting.

3. Apply Coupon

You will be able to Enable or disable for coupon code from shipping restriction setting.

Navigate to M-connect Media > Manage Shipping Restriction

There are three options available in the manage shipping Restriction:

1.Shipping Method

2.Conditions
 
3.Coupons

Shipping Method – Shipping Restriction Information Add Rule name forshipping restriction method.

For example,
Rule Name: - Free shipping for India,
Shipping Carriers: - Choose Free Shipping Method
Restrict method for customer group
Store view restrict method
Priority: - if priority is 1, that display error message will be given 1st priority
Status:- Must be Enable
Error Message:- Display Error message as per Rule Name and Shipping Method

4. Conditions - Apply the rule only for this condition

For example Rule Name: - Free shipping for India, so choose Shipping  Country  India to apply this rule.

5. Coupons

Navigate to Marketing > Cart Price Rules > Coupon code field

Apply Coupon code for this rule.

You will be only able to add Coupon code according to the Cart Price Rule.

Display Error Messagein shopping cart

Display Error Message Create Order Page in admin panel

2. Add new shipping restriction screen open ups

Navigate  to  Conditions  to  apply  conditions  according  product and customer attributes.

1. Navigate Sales > Orders > Create New Order > Select Customer/New Customer

2. Fill up Account information and address information

3. Now scroll down to Payment & Shipping Information

4. Click on Shipping Method > Click on Shipping methods and rates

The result is shown below:

 Where to create shipping restriction?

1. After logging in, Navigate to M-connect media> restriction

2. Manage Shipping restriction rules screen open ups

Click on Add new rule

3. Add Shipping Restriction Rule opens up

You can Add Rule nameand the shipping carriers you want to restrict.

You can also select a specific customer group.

Navigate to shipping restriction settingsto apply shipping restrictions

How to limit shipping on the basis of product and customer attributes?

1. Navigate to M-connect > Manage shipping restriction

Click on add new rule

2. Add new shipping restriction screen open ups

Navigate  to  Conditions  to  apply  conditions  according  product and customer attributes.
